Any further studies above the undergraduate level are called postgraduate qualifications. There are many courses available that vary in length and are ranked as follows (from the lowest to highest level):

  • Masters Degree (Coursework and Research)
  • Doctor of Philosophy Degree (PhD)

Admission Information:

Intake:

International students are expected to start planning for their studies in Australia at least 4 to 5 months prior in advance. The major intake for Australia is February and July. The other intake is September, November but it depends on the students program and the institution that he/she is applying to. Very few institutes might have the May intake as well.

English Language Requirement:

All students must show the Engish language proficiency if they are applying to Australian Institutes. International students need to reach the required level of English language competence.

Australian Scholarships

Scholarships are offered by the Australian Government, education institutions, and a number of other organizations. There are limited scholarships available in Australia but they rarely cover the full cost of a study program and they are not always easy to find. Scholarships are available to international students with exceptional results at some Australian institutions. The amount awarded varies from one institution to another.
